Merlin's Apprentice & Montez – Etalxiuitl-Nahuahuani

London's masters of the underground Merlin & Montez join forces to create this absolute belter of an EP. Merlin's Apprentice is usually known for his more playful and trancey tunes, but Portuguese maestro Montez's influence means there's no messing around with these two banging ballads of hedonism.

'Aztec Implementor' kicks off with an atmospheric ethereal introduction that soon rips into a blasting bassline guaranteed to get feet moving and hips twitching. The tribal chants are as hypnotising and catchy as they come, creating a truly unique and addictive hook for this budding debut.
'Innermost Placement' epitomises the driving euphoric psychedelic trance Free-Spirit Records has calved a name for, with the uplifting ethnic vocals guiding the dancefloor out of their innermost places to reach for the stars and dance their arses off.

Summer is finally hitting the northern hemisphere and you're going to want these two tracks in your arsenal when the sun starts going down and it's time for the party to really explode!
